You Can Now Visit an All-Vegan Food Court in New York City

Everyone loves a good food court—unless that person happens to be plant-based. Most of the time, there’s not a single option to eat that doesn’t contain meat, dairy, and other animal products. Except for one exception: The just-opened St. Marks Vegan Food Court that puts malls across America to shame.

Located in the East Village in New York City at 12 St. Marks Place, the all-vegan food court—a first-of-its-kind in the U.S.—has a long list of menu items to choose from four different all-star vendors: VSPOT (Latin food), Marty’s V Burger (fast food), Veggie Grub (comfort food), and Jam Cakery NYC (desserts). There’s also fresh juice, smoothies, and shakes, as well as wine and cocktails.

There aren’t many places you can order vegan empanadas, burgers, popcorn chick’un, mac and cheese, and brownies all under one roof, and that’s exactly why you’re going to want to book a plane ticket to visit this food court ASAP. Here’s a look inside.
