When Beyond Meat first announced it was partnering with Dunkin’ Donuts to create a plant-based sausage breakfast sandwich, I was about as stunned as when Burger King decided to add the Impossible Whopper to its menu. But nope—I’m still not dreaming. And it’s officially available to purchase.

Today, the Beyond Sausage Breakfast Sandwich—which costs $4.29 a pop—dropped at each of Dunkin’ Donuts’ 163 locations across New York City. The sausage patty—which contains 10 grams of protein due to a combination of pea, mung bean, rice, and sunflower proteins—is seasoned with a blend of the chain’s signature spices. While it comes with an egg and American cheese, you can remove them to make it vegan-friendly; the English muffin doesn’t contain any animal products.

“Beyond Meat has earned the national spotlight for its innovative products and for creating incredible awareness and excitement for the benefits of plant-based meat,” says David Hoffmann, Dunkin’ Brands chief executive officer and president of Dunkin’ U.S., in a press release. “Dunkin’ has always stood apart for offering new and exciting choices to meet the needs of our on-the-go guests, and we are proud to collaborate with this industry leader to become the first U.S. restaurant chain to serve a Beyond Breakfast Sausage option.”

This partnership doesn’t just make plant-based protein more affordable and accessible to the masses—it’s also a healthier way to get your breakfast sandwich fix, as actual sausage is classified as a carcinogen, along with other processed meats. Right now, there’s no word on where or when the Beyond Sausage Breakfast Sandwich will be available next, but the plan is to eventually roll it out nationwide. For now, a trip to the Big Apple might be in order.
