The reality of eating granola is once you start, you’re definitely not going to be able to stop. How can you not love a combo that’s both healthy and delicious? While most varieties are pretty basic and consist of rolled oats, nuts, and some sort of sweetener, you can make a version at home that tastes just like a peanut butter cup. I’m serious.
Caitlin Shoemaker, the healthy vegan food blogger behind From My Bowl, recently shared a recipe on Instagram that’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen: a 7-ingredient granola that might just fool you into thinking you’re eating an actual Reese’s. “This peanut butter cup granola is a great excuse to eat peanut butter and chocolate all day, every day—not that I ever need an excuse,” she wrote.

Even though making your own batch of granola seems like it would be a little time consuming, it’s anything but—promise. You only need a handful of simple ingredients, including peanut butter, maple syrup, rolled oats, peanuts, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and dark chocolate. Then, the entire process will be done in the amount of time you spend watching your favorite TV show.
“Simply mix everything in a bowl, spread it across a baking tray, and bake until crispy,” she says. “Whether you have it with nut milk for breakfast, on top of a smoothie bowl or oatmeal, or just grab a few handfuls for a snack, it’s just as versatile as it is delicious.”
Basically, your breakfasts are about to get a whole lot sweeter.
