Beyond Meat just announced an exciting new partnership with food distributor Sysco, and that’s great news for your Beyond Burger obsession.
The beet-dripping burger was only available at grocery stores like Whole Foods and Kroger as of late, but now you’ll be able to find it at thousands of fast-food joints, restaurant chains, hospitals, and schools across the country. Pretty amazing, right?
“Similar to how we’ve partnered with conventional grocery stores to bring The Beyond Burger to the meat aisle where everyday consumers shop for protein, we are thrilled to be a part of Sysco’s Cutting Edge Solutions program to bring The Beyond Burger to menus alongside beef at thousands of mainstream restaurants nationwide,” Beyond Meat CEO Ethan Brown said in a press release.
Today, Beyond Meat announced a soft launch at TGI Fridays in the Boston area — the biggest restaurant brand thus far to partner with the company.
The best news is that the expansion is already happening: Today, Beyond Meat announced a soft launch at TGI Fridays in the Boston area — the biggest restaurant brand thus far to partner with the company. With The Beyond Burger as a new menu item (right now for an 8-week test period), you’ll be able to use the patty in any of their existing burger combos.
“TGI Fridays is a staple in the American dining landscape, and we are thrilled they are bringing The Beyond Burger to their customers,” Brown said. “From the onset, The Beyond Burger has been about delivering delicious, satiating, center-of-the-plate protein for the entire family to enjoy. I’m elated to see this vision come to fruition with TGI Fridays.”
If you’re in the Boston area, try it out. And if not, we have a feeling it will be coming your way very soon.
